MINI just announced, that Mini United (MU2011) will take place in France. Many of us were waiting for this announcement for almost half of the year, because Mini United 2009 was announced far in advance and all planning to visit had enough time to prepare.
This year MINI decided to make us a surprise. The most frequent names MINI fans heard were Barcelona (Spain) and Le Mans (France) – both far enough for any European.

Euro NCAP published on their YouTube Channel video of crash test of MINI Countryman. As expected – 5 stars. Dashboard, as it is in “normal” MINI is dangerous, but kids are absolutely safe. Front of the car is also safer, because it is higher. Full results you can see on Euro NCAP web site.

After Misano/Italy and Zandvoort/Netherlands, MINI is celebrating the third MINI United Festival from 22-24 May 2009 in the land of its birth. Silverstone/UK with its legendary racetrack will be next year’s setting for the largest MINI fan event ever celebrating the brand’s 50th birthday.
